Welcome to PlusOnes. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the PlusOnes app, a platform designed to connect individuals for social activities and events. The terms “us” or “we” refer to PlusOnes, a General Partnership (VOF) incorporated under the laws of the Netherlands with registration number 93986602. By accessing or using the PlusOnes app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the app.
1. Using the PlusOnes App
1.1 Members-Only Platform
PlusOnes is a members-only platform created to foster an intimate and safe space for committed members. To access the app’s features or participate in activities, you must become a member. Membership helps us ensure the quality and trustworthiness of our community.
1.2 Service Description
PlusOnes provides a platform where members can connect and organize social activities and events.
1.3 User Account
To use the app, you need to create an account with accurate and complete information, including opting in for a paid membership. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and all activities under your account.
1.4 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the PlusOnes app. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and agree to abide by these terms.
2. Community Guidelines
2.1 Prohibited Activities
To maintain a respectful and safe environment for everyone, you agree not to:
Violate any laws or regulations.
Use the app for unauthorized or harmful purposes.
Harass, intimidate, or threaten others.
Post false, misleading, or offensive content.
Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity.
Interfere with the app’s functionality or performance.
2.2 Interactions with Other Users
While the PlusOnes app facilitates connections, we do not verify user information or conduct background checks. It’s important to use caution and exercise discretion when interacting with others, both online and in person.
2.3 No-Show Policy and Cancellation Fee
Respect for the time and effort of others is key to building a positive and reliable community.
Participants: If you cannot attend an activity you’ve committed to, we ask that you cancel at least 24 hours before the activity’s start time. Failing to do so or not showing up may result in a no-show or cancellation fee. This fee is used to support the growth and sustainability of the PlusOnes community by funding improvements and initiatives that benefit all members.
Hosts: If you’re hosting an event and need to cancel, you are required to provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancelling with less than 24 hours' notice may result in a cancellation fee. This policy ensures participants have enough time to adjust their plans and helps maintain a fair and considerate environment for everyone.
These measures are in place to foster accountability and maintain a fair, supportive environment for all members.
3. Payments for Memberships and Activities
3.1 Membership Payments
The membership fee is a coordination and community access fee that helps sustain the platform, ensuring a safe and enriching experience for all members. Membership charges are processed securely through trusted third-party payment providers. PlusOnes does not store or manage your payment information directly, as these external providers handle all transactions in compliance with applicable data protection and security standards.
3.2 Activity Fees
Fees associated with specific activities or events (e.g., event participation costs) are not managed by PlusOnes. These payments are arranged directly between participants and hosts using external methods such as bank transfers, payment apps, or other agreed-upon means. PlusOnes is not involved in facilitating, monitoring, or mediating these transactions.
3.3 Payment Transparency
Hosts are responsible for clearly communicating any associated costs for their activities to participants. Members are encouraged to ensure payment agreements are transparent and to exercise caution when sharing payment details outside the platform.
3.4 No Liability for Third-Party Transactions
PlusOnes does not oversee payments between users and hosts for activities and is not liable for any disputes, errors, or issues arising from these transactions.
4. Privacy
4.1 Data Collection
Your privacy is important to us. PlusOnes collects and uses personal information in accordance with our [Privacy Policy](link to policy). By using the app, you consent to this data collection and processing.
4.2 Data Security
We protect your personal information in line with European data protection laws, including GDPR, using technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. While no system is entirely immune to risks, we comply with legal obligations, including breach notifications when required. If you have concerns about your data’s security, please contact us immediately.
5. Referral Program
5.1 Program Overview
PlusOnes offers a referral program that rewards members for introducing new users to the platform. By participating, you agree to the following terms:

To participate, you must have an active PlusOnes membership. Referrals must result in successful new registrations and successful attendance of at least one activity for the rewards to be applied.
5.3 Referral Rewards
Rewards may include discounts, credits, or other incentives as outlined in the referral program details within the app. PlusOnes reserves the right to modify the reward structure at any time.
5.4 Misuse of the Program
Fraudulent or abusive activity, such as creating fake accounts or spamming, will result in disqualification from the program and may lead to account suspension.
5.5 Program Changes
PlusOnes reserves the right to modify or terminate the referral program at any time without prior notice. Rewards earned before any changes will be honored at PlusOnes' discretion.
6. Ambassador Program and Financial Incentives
6.1 Financial Incentives
PlusOnes may, at its sole discretion, offer financial or non-monetary incentives to users who actively contribute to the platform’s growth, engagement, and community development. These incentives may include, but are not limited to:
Successful referrals: Referring new members who register and maintain a paid membership for a specified period (e.g., one year).
Hosting activities: Organizing and successfully completing a set number of activities with confirmed attendance.
Ambassador participation: Joining the Ambassador Program and fulfilling its specific criteria, such as engaging in promotional activities or providing platform feedback.
These incentives aim to reward users for fostering a vibrant and active PlusOnes community.
6.2 Criteria and Terms
The specific criteria, terms, and conditions for earning financial or other incentives will be determined by PlusOnes and detailed in the Ambassador Program guidelines. These terms may include:
Eligibility requirements for participation (e.g., registration deadlines).
Minimum standards for referral and activity verification.
Payment structures and timelines for rewards (e.g., referral bonuses or hosting remuneration).
PlusOnes reserves the right to amend these criteria at any time.
6.3 Program Exclusivity
Participation in the Ambassador Program may be limited to a capped number of participants (e.g., 250 ambassadors). Selection will be at the sole discretion of PlusOnes.
6.4 No Employment Relationship
Participation in the Ambassador Program or any other incentive scheme does not establish any form of employment, partnership, or agency relationship with PlusOnes. Ambassadors act as independent contributors.
6.5 Program Modification
PlusOnes reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Ambassador Program or any financial incentive scheme at any time and for any reason, with or without prior notice. Users who qualify for incentives prior to such changes may receive their rewards at PlusOnes’ discretion.
6.6 Transparency and Limitations
PlusOnes will provide clear and accessible documentation outlining the terms and rewards of its Ambassador Program. However, participation and incentives are not guaranteed and are subject to the program's operational priorities, budget, and user compliance with all applicable terms.
7. Limitations of Liability
7.1 User Conduct
PlusOnes does not take responsibility for the actions of users. It is your responsibility to engage with others thoughtfully and safely.
7.2 App Availability
The PlusOnes app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for reliability, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free functionality.
7.3 Limitation of Damages
PlusOnes is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the app.
8. Updates to These Terms
8.1 Changes
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. If significant changes are made, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continuing to use the app after such updates means you accept the revised terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.
